On December 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm the Nature Center will be open for you to explore! Admission is any money donation or donation from our wish list As you walk around, check out our new education materials and ask the staff questions to fill out a trivia sheet! The first sheet drawn at the end of the night with all correct answers will win a free week of summer camp! We hope you will join us for a fun night of learning about and interacting with our animals!
Elsa Toddler Time!
Join us on December 10th at 10:00 as we welcome special guest Queen Elsa! Elsa will read her story, and then we will do a craft, have a sing along and a snack, and go meet the animals that live in the Nature Center!

Nature Explorers Workshops
Looking for something for your child to do on days off from school?!
Send them to the Barn Nature Center for a FUN and EDUCATIONAL workshop that will provide them with unique learning experiences.
Each workshop features interactive and experiential activities designed to engage students in the Workshop's theme. During some, the participants may get a chance to go behind the scenes and learn what it takes to become a professional animal caregiver at the Barn Nature Center! Or they might also get to climb our indoor rock wall or high ropes course or relax with friends in our game room.
Nature Explorers Workshops are typically designed for students in grades 1st through 6th.

Toddler Time is a Mommy or Daddy (or grandparent) and toddler class especially designed for children ages 1-5 years old. This class will include close encounters with friendly animal ambassadors, story time, music, crafts, movement, and snacks. Having the opportunity to get up close and personal with our animals at the Barn Nature Center is sure to nurture your child’s natural curiosity and respect for the living world. This class is regularly scheduled every Tuesday at 10am, however dates may vary.
